Developing Character Backgrounds, Stoylines, and Environments

Just as with larger production houses - ITMStudios works on developing a storyline with a client first. Before anything artistically can happen the development of the overall storyline or text treatment is written followed by the character discoveries (each characters individual background info) both of which help the concept artists design the look of the character as well as the environments they will inhabit.  Through this development the artists work to flesh out ideas of emotion, character traits that translate into movements and how that will work with animation sequences.
